The device has an electrically powered control unit that controls a drive unit i.e. electric motor, such that a furniture part is movable as a function of control action assigned to the furniture part. A switching unit is arranged such that control unit automatically separates from an external power supply in case if the control unit does not register the action. The disconnection of the external power supply takes place after a predetermined time. The control action is triggered in a time-dependent manner. |
