Sending messages with user generated content via a mobile communication network

To allow a user of a mobile communication device to modify a message generated in a smart card (202) of the mobile communication device (101) with a predefined text, the invention suggests an add-on device (208) for transmitting a message from a mobile communication device to a recipient via a mobile communication network. The add-on device (208) is adapted to intercept a message sent from a smart card (202) of the mobile communication device (101) to a radio module (203) of the mobile communication device (101), to modify a visible content of the message and to forward the message to the radio module (203) after the modification of the message for transmitting the message to the mobile communication network. Furthermore, the invention relates to a mobile communication device including the add-on device and to a method for sending a message.
