<p>The plate (1) has front attachment and rear attachment elements (5, 11) cooperating with respective front attachment and rear attachment elements of an automatic pedal of a cycle to tighten the plate between the pedal elements. Front and rear clamping surfaces (9, 15) are divided into multiple parts by a notch (21) extending on thickness direction from the plate and from an upper face to a lower face, by forming an evacuation opening toward an external lower material face to penetrate mud in an interstice formed between sole of a shoe and one of the plate elements. The pedal elements are supported against the clamping surfaces provided on front and rear edges (10, 16) of the plate, respectively.</p> |
