PURPOSE: A CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) for reducing the febricity of a VM(Velocity Modulation) coil is provided to be capable of improving the reliability of the CRT by supplying an optimum coil radius to the VM coil. CONSTITUTION: A CRT comprises a panel having a fluorescent screen, a funnel having a neck part and a cone part as one piece, an electron gun loaded at the neck part of the funnel, a deflection yoke installed at the cone part of the funnel, and an SVM(Scan Velocity Modulation) part installed at the peripheral portion of the neck part. At this time, a VM coil having a radius of 0.35mm, or less, is wound at the SVM part for preventing the increase of temperature due to the current supplied at the frequency of 30-100kHz from exceeding the temperature of 50°C.
