Covering with integrated heat insulation

The cover has a carrier section (50) connected with an external cover element (52) and carrying the external cover element. The carrier section is attached to a window frame (1). An integrated thermal insulation is provided in a region of the carrier section. A chamber system is provided as an insulation. Chambers (7-9) of the chamber system are oriented between the external cover element and the window frame. The chambers are laid together in a layered manner perpendicular to a plane of the cover. The carrier section is made of plastic e.g. acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a frame of a door or a window.
