摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a diagnosis control method of a multi-air conditioner and, more specifically, to a trial run control method of a multi-air conditioner applied with an indoor unit incapable of communicating. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a diagnosis control method of a multi-air conditioner, which comprises an outdoor unit; a first indoor unit bi-directionally communicates with the outdoor unit; and a second indoor unit transmitting the unidirectional AC relay signal to the outdoor unit, is as follows. The second indoor unit receives a trial run command for performing a trial run. The second indoor unit sends air to an air conditioning space and performs a first trial run in which the assembling condition of the multi-air conditioner is diagnosed for a predetermined first reference time. The outdoor unit receives an AC relay signal from the second indoor unit and performs a second trial run for circulating a refrigerant to determine whether the refrigerant is normally supplied to the second indoor unit or not by driving a compressor prepared on the outdoor unit. The second indoor unit determines whether or not the result of the trial run of the second indoor unit is successful based on the first trial run or the second trial run. The first indoor unit displays the result of the trial run. According to the present invention, a trial run control can be performed even if an indoor unit incapable of communicating is applied, and the installer or the user of an air conditioner can receive the accurate determination result of a trial run.
