摘要 The present invention relates to an electrochemical gas sensor and more specifically, to an electrochemical gas sensor for a drunkometer where a liquid electrolyte does not evaporated at high temperatures. According to the present invention, the electrochemical gas sensor comprises: a sample gas chamber having a gas inlet; a reaction electrode and a counter electrode which are arranged inside the sample gas chamber, and where an oxidation-reduction reaction of the sample gas flowed in through the gas inlet is caused; a liquid electrolyte interposed between the reaction electrode and the counter electrode while being dipped into a porous carrier; hydrophobic electroconductive films combined to the reaction electrode and the counter electrode; and a lead line combined to the hydrophobic electroconductive films. The hydrophobic electroconductive film protects the lead lines from the liquid electrolyte, and transfers electric signals to the lead line. According to the present invention, in the electrochemical gas sensor, the lead line connected to an external circuit is not connected directly to a reaction electrode wet by the liquid electrolyte, but connected through the hydrophobic electroconductive films. Therefore, the corrosion of the lead line caused by the liquid electrolyte is not generated. Therefore, a general conducting wire, which is not an expensive platinum conducting wire, can be used as the lead line.
