According to the present invention, a fuel cell system for automobiles is able to selectively control operation of an air blower and an air tank with a stack which can generate electrical power using hydrogen and oxygen based on the information about surrounding environment of the roads. The information is provided by a navigation device of an automobile. In case a road is a slope, the air blower stops operation and the air tank can be opened.
