The present invention relates to an automobile differential comprising a planetary gear mechanism and method of torque distribution in such differential by means of applying additional input torque to a differential pinion of the planetary gear mechanism. The method comprises transmission of main input torque from a main source of torque through a pinion carrier, at least one differential pinion and a sun pinion to first and second output shafts, so that the transmitted torque is divided to first and second torque applied to the first and second output shafts respectively. The method further comprising transmission of at least one addition input torque from at least one additional source of torque directly to the at least one differential pinion of the planetary gear mechanism.
