PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door structure which prevents a swing door panel from opening when the locking between a slide door panel and the swing door panel is incomplete.SOLUTION: A vehicle door structure 1 includes: a slide door panel 6 which opens and closes a front side region of a rear door opening of a vehicle body 2; a swing door panel 7 which opens and closes a rear side region of the rear door opening with the slide door panel 6; an opening detection mechanism 30 which detects an opening of the slide door panel 6 and estimates the lock state between the slide door panel 6 and the swing door panel 7; and a handle disabling mechanism 31 which is provided at the swing door panel 7 and disables the operation of a handle 10 for a swing door when the swing door panel 7 is completely closed. The handle disabling mechanism 31 activates the operation of the handle 10 for the swing door when the lock state between the slide door panel 6 and the swing door panel 7 are detected by the opening detection mechanism 30. |
