The shaft (1) has a fastening device i.e. axial groove (2), for fastening a roller blind material, where the shaft is designed as a partial hollow shaft with an inner circumferential surface (3). A noise insulation unit is releasably received within the shaft and contacts the inner circumferential surface of the shaft. The noise insulation unit is designed as an elongated profiled element that comprises a base body and two bars. The bars extend from the base body at non-uniform distances in a radial direction of the base body. The noise insulation unit is made of plastic.
