The present invention relates to a compound in which a heterocyclic moiety, particularly, an indole derivative moiety is fused at the end of benzothienopyridine or benzofuropyridine, and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same. When the compound of the present invention is used in an organic layer, an organic electroluminescent device having improved light emitting efficiency, driving voltage and lifespan can be provided.
