PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode body for heating, an electroconductive heating device and an electroconductive heating method, for efficiently performing electroconductive heating of a plate where at least either a lateral width or thickness of a region to be heated varies in a depth direction.SOLUTION: When performing electroconductive heating of a plate where at least either a lateral width or thickness or both the lateral width and thickness of a region to be heated vary in a depth direction, an electrode body 10 for heating is used. The electrode body 10 for heating comprises: a resistance section 11 for compensation which compensates for a difference of resistance in the depth direction between right and left ends in the region to be heated; and an electrode section 12 for flowing current through the plate which is disposed at a side opposite to the plate with the resistance section 11 for compensation interposed therebetween. In either the right end portion or the left end portion or both the right end portion and left end portion of the region to be heated of the plate, the electrode body 10 for heating is disposed in such a manner that the resistance section 11 for compensation is brought into contact with the plate. Thus, a current density flowing to the region to be heated is settled within the same range regardless of locations. |
