The plug connector (16) has high voltage components (14) which are mechanically connected in a plug-in position with a mating contact portion and are electrically contacted with a plug contact portion through several pole power cables (12, 13). Plug contact portion and mating contact portion are locked in the plug-in position by means of a locking device (17) having an electronic controller (18) for measuring the voltage of control electronic components using a voltage measuring unit. Voltage measuring unit is connected with electronic controller through communication network. An independent claim is included for battery system.
