METHOD FOR EXTRACTING CLIENT SERVICE CLOCK FROM OTN NETWORK

The present invention relates to a method for extracting a client service clock from an OTN network, employing statistical control and an externally connected digital frequency synthesizer. Step 1, using an OTN system clock to synchronously smoothen a client service deframed by an OTN network, so that the client service data is relatively smooth; step 2, collecting and comparing the smoothened data volume with the data volume transmitted by the client service, and controlling clock adjustment information by means of a weighting algorithm in conjunction with FIFO cache redundancy; and step 3, converting the clock adjustment information into precise frequency adjustment information required by the externally connected digital frequency synthesizer, and precisely controlling the externally connected digital frequency synthesizer to generate a service transmitting clock. The method of the present invention is less difficult and less expensive to realize, and the clock extraction process is mainly controlled by statistics without relying on the working state of a cache, thus being secure and reliable; filtering will be timely conducted in the statistical process in case of an abnormality, and no iteration effect will occur during device cascading, thus having a better quality for the extracted clock.
