An embodiment of the present invention provides a capacitive touch panel which includes: a touch area for detecting a touch; and a protective area to protect against static electricity by being placed around the touch area. A first and a second line are arranged in the protective area. The first and the second line do not cross over. The first line is connected to the ground. A voltage is applied through the second line.
