PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid applicator which promotes liquid flow to a liquid absorbing body in order to increase a length of application at a time.SOLUTION: A valve type liquid applicator A comprises a valve mechanism 40 disposed between a cylinder 10 for storing liquid and an application member 30. The valve mechanism 40 comprises a valve stem 41 which moves backward when the application member 30 moves backward. When the application member 30 is pushed, the valve stem moves backward and a valve body 41a formed in the valve stem 41 moves apart from a valve seat 43b of the valve seat body, which supplies liquid in the cylinder 10 to the application member 30. A gap 36 is formed between the outer periphery of the valve stem 41 and the inner periphery of a liquid absorbing body 35, and the inner diameter of the valve seat body 43 is formed larger than the inner diameter of the liquid absorbing body 35 so that a liquid storing part 45 is formed in the valve seat body 43 surrounded by the rear end of the liquid absorbing body 35 and the outer periphery of the valve stem 41. |
