PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base tire low in heat generation and high in durability, and a tire manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A base tire manufacturing method for curing a case part including a belt having a plurality of belt layers, a side, and a bead is characterized by at least one blending method selected from the following (a) to (x): (a) the covering rubber composition of the outermost belt layer of the belt is blended with 30 to 60 mass part of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 25 to 99 m/g defined in JIS 6217-2:2001 with respect to 100 mass part of a rubber component; (b) the belt having at least three layers, and the belt covering rubber composition of at least one layer constituting the belt layer is blended with 40 to 60 mass part of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 25 to 99 m/g defined in JIS 6217-2:2001 with respect to 100 mass part of the rubber component; and (c) the case including a carcass ply, and the covering rubber composition of the carcass ply is blended with 40 to 60 mass part of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 25 to 90 m/g defined in JIS 6217-2:2001 with respect to 100 mass part of the rubber component. |
