The present invention provides a multi-layer electro gas arc welding method which is capable of preventing brittle crack propagation even though a brittle crack is generated. A welding device comprises: a first wire torch for feeding a first wire to weld a gap between welded materials of a steel plate; a second wire torch for feeding a second wire; and a welding main body connected to the first wire torch and the second wire torch. Provided is a multi-layer electro gas arc welding method comprising: a first molten metal forming step for forming a first molten metal by melting only a fist wire by using an arc formed by a first wire of an electrode wire torch; a climbing step for climbing the welding main body after melting a certain amount of the first wire; and a second molten metal forming step for forming a second molten metal by melting a second wire of a second wire torch with the first wire.
