PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method for keratin fiber having excellent duration, in particular under an action of heat and capable of providing excellent elongating effect on eyelashes.SOLUTION: It is prepared a cosmetic composition applied to eyelashes in order to obtain elongated effect on eyelashes. The cosmetic composition is heated to the temperature of 40°C or more before application of it, simultaneously with or subsequent to application of it. The composition comprising at least one compound or mixture of compounds which provides the composition with 5 mm or more stringiness dmax by heating the compounds to the temperature of 40°C or more.
