PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for propagation of influenza virus and embryonated eggs for it.SOLUTION: According to the vaccine producing method, a virus including a recombinant DNA encoding NS1 gene segment of influenza virus is propagated in an immature embryonated egg, preferably 6-9 day-old chicken egg, and attenuated progeny influenza viruses are recovered, where the virus is propagated under non-contaminated environment to a sufficient amount to be used for vaccine formulation.
