The present invention relates to an apparatus using a cover for automatically closing a toilet seat which uses a lever to automatically rotate a seat cover to close a toilet seat, and therefore, which prevents water from splattering out of a toilet. The apparatus using a cover for automatically closing a toilet seat comprises: a holding unit disposed and fixed on the back side of the toilet seat cover; a fixing unit which is movably disposed on the front side of a water tank of a toilet and fixed on the holding unit; an operational unit which is contacted with the fixating unit when the lever is rotated and which moves the fixing unit to break the connection between the fixing unit and the holding unit; and an elastic unit which is disposed on a rotatory shaft of the seat cover and which applies an elastic force to the seat cover to be rotated downwardly.
