The present invention relates to a panel that is made of a rigid plate-shaped material, for example MDF or HDF, and a covering abrasion resistant finish layer, for example linoleum, vinyl, pvc or the like. Said base material comprises V-shaped recesses along which the panel may be bent so as to obtain a bent panel comprising a finish layer. Said panel may especially be used as a trim panel for a stair because of its high abrasion resistance. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a trim panel, wherein surfaces directed towards each other are mutually connected by means of an adhesive. For example, a structural adhesive may be used. |
