The drum has a driver (2) that is arranged in the drum interior of a drum casing (1). The seams (4) are provided in the drum casing. The recess portions (6) are formed in the seams and are covered with the driver, for passage of washing/rinsing fluid. The seams are exclusively located in the region of driver. A receiving section (5) of the seams is extended outside the region covered by the driver, at the edge portion (K) of driver and drum casing.
