摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit with a capacitor increasing a condensing efficiency of a bundle of rays emitted from a fluorescent wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit 63 includes an excitation light source 72, the fluorescent wheel 71 including a fluorescence emission region emitting a fluorescence in response to a light emitted from the excitation light source 72 and a diffuse transmission region diffusing and transmitting the light emitted from the excitation light source 72 arranged in parallel in the circumferential direction, a wheel motor 73 driving the fluorescent wheel 71, and the capacitor 74 condensing the pencil of the rays emitted from the fluorescent wheel 71 on a predetermined surface, wherein the capacitor 74 includes a diffused light capacitor lens 156 as a capacitor lens that condenses the diffuse transmission light emitted from the fluorescent wheel 71, the diffused light capacitor lens 156 being arranged in the vicinity of backside of the fluorescent wheel 71 in a position immediately close to a side of the wheel motor 73 and being a D-cut lens in which a longitudinal length is formed longer than a lateral length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
