Disclosed is a method for cutting concave worms, in which cutting of turns is carried out by a shaper cutter on a blank in the form of a globoid under conditions of continuous rolling and dividing at crossing axes of a blank and a tool, which is set in continuous translational motion along its axis. Treatment is carried out by the shaper cutter with increased circular indexing distance between the teeth multiple of &pgr;m, where m- end module of shaper cutter teeth, which is specified provided simultaneous involvement in the cutting process of no more than one tooth of the tool. |
