The invention relates to powder metallurgy and can be used for the producing of parts of friction pairs, mechanical seals and friction bearings. According to the method the particles of tungsten carbide WC, which have the size of 40-125 microns, are covered with a layer of cobalt or nickel, or copper with a thickness of 1-7 microns, at that the components are taken in the following ratio, wt. %: tungsten – 94.5-70; cobalt – 5.5-30 or nickel– 5.5-30 or copper – 5.5-30. Then the particles are pressed mainly at 150-400 MPa and the produced press forms are sintered, preferably at the temperatures of existence of the liquid phase of the eutectic composition in a protective environment to the achievement of self-induced structuring and final porosity of 45-25 %. |
