METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TESTING TOUCH SCREEN PANEL

A testing method and testing device of a touch screen panel are disclosed. The testing method of the touch screen panel comprises; a step of detecting a discharging waveform by applying a signal to the touch screen panel and setting a quality standard by calculating a standard value through the discharging waveform; and a step of determining a defect of each testing coordinate of the touch screen panel according to the quality standard. The signal is the combination of a frequency for a touch sensitivity test of the touch screen panel, and a frequency for a lighting test. The touch screen panel testing device comprises a testing unit including; a first screen applying unit which applies a signal to each row of a testing coordinate of the touch screen panel; a second signal applying unit which applies a signal to each column of the testing coordinate of the touch screen panel; and a receiving unit which receives a discharging waveform detected after the application of the signal. The touch screen panel testing device comprises a control unit which exchanges the signal and information with the testing unit. The signal is the combination of a frequency for a touch sensitivity test of the touch screen panel, and a frequency for a lighting test.
