PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle processing apparatus that reduces algorithm integration man hours by automating redundant processing and minimizes overhead of processing time due to automation to reduce processing time of a system, and to provide a method thereof.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes multiple pieces of image processing formed of consecutive processing steps. When there is the same processing step in the multiple pieces of image processing, the image processing apparatus reuses output image data of the first processing step for the second and subsequent processing steps. The image processing apparatus includes: image information managing means for holding information as to whether to reuse images; overwrite image determination means for determining whether an image to be overwritten by a processing step is an image to be reused or not by use of the above information; and image copying means for preparing a copy of the image data prior to overwriting only when the image is to be reused. And a method thereof is also provided. |
