GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR, AND INKJET RECORDER INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device in which a solvent consumption amount in operation is reduced by using a gas-liquid separator which can be installed in any direction.SOLUTION: The gas-liquid separator includes: a casing including a cylindrical chamber inside thereof; a gas-liquid two-phase inflow pipe coupled to a wall part of the casing and connected with a chamber; a gas outlet pipe to discharge gas in gas-liquid which is flowed in the chamber; and a gas-liquid two-phase outlet pipe to discharge most of the gas-liquid which is flowed in the chamber. The gas-liquid separator forms a gap around the gas-liquid outflow pipe in the chamber gas-liquid and separates gas-liquid into the gas and the liquid utilizing surface-tension and flow of suction. The gas-liquid separator is mounted on the inkjet recording device, particularly on a print head, and the solvent consumption amount is reduced by filling the solvent gas in the chamber and sucking from the gutter.
