PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of achieving both a power supply on/off operation by the opening/closing of a shutter and a screen mute function by the shutter.SOLUTION: When a shutter 4 is in an off position, while a projector 1 is operated (step S110:Y) and when a clocking time by a timer passes over a prescribed time T1 (step S111:Y), the clocking of the timer is stopped and an alarm by alarm means is completed (step S118), and then, a light source is turned off (step S119). Then, the power supply of the projector 1 is turned off to change the projector 1 into a standby state (step S120). |
