PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrap storage device capable of preventing any trash by sucking a scrap punched in a punch press.SOLUTION: A scrap storage device for storing a scrap punched in a punch press comprises: a scrap storage body 15 for receiving the scrap freely; a cover member 19 disposed in the scrap storage body 15 so that it can be opened and closed; negative-pressure generating means 27 connected to the scrap storage body 15 or the cover member 19 for generating a negative pressure in the scrap storage body 15; and a scrap suction passage 29B connecting a die installation part in the punch press and the scrap storage body 15 so as to suck the scrap, which has been punched in the punch press, into the scrap storage body 15. The scrap storage device further comprises contact surface cleaning means 41 and 45 including rotors 33 and 35 allowed to contact with each other on the outer circumferences and disposed below the scrap storage body 15 and the cover member 19, for eliminating scraps from the mutual contact surfaces of the two rotors 33 and 35. |
