PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a thin cover film including both a hard coat layer and a decorative layer at a low cost.SOLUTION: A cover film 1A is provided to display equipment. The cover film 1A includes a base material film 2, a decorative layer 3 formed on the base material film 2, and a hard coat layer 4 formed on the base material film 2 while covering the decorative layer 3 and filling an area B devoid of the decorative layer 3. The display equipment is formed, for example, by providing a protective plate on the surface of a display unit. The display unit is formed, for example, by a liquid crystal display.
