摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual image display device with a see-through function of superposing and displaying external light and video light, which is capable of maintaining optical characteristics in a satisfactory state while suppressing the reduction of yield by enhancing adhesion in a joint part between a light reflection film and a hard coat layer, and a method of manufacturing the virtual image display device.SOLUTION: Since an adhesion enhancement film OM is present as an intermediate layer arranged between a light reflection film RM and a hard coat layer 27, joining of the light reflection film RM to the hard coat layer 27 can be maintained at a high level. Consequently, peeling of the hard coat layer in a manufacturing process can be avoided to suppress the reduction of yield, and degradation of the hard coat layer 27 and the light reflection film RM is suppressed to secure these performance, and thus optical characteristics can be maintained in a satisfactory state while suppressing the reduction of yield.
