PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber laser device capable of accurately controlling the pulse width of output light being emitted.SOLUTION: In a fiber laser device 1 emitting pulsed output light, a control unit 70 controls a pumping light source 30 for amplification to emit pumping light for amplification when a pumping light for seed light generation is emitted from a pumping light source 10 for seed light generation, and an optical switch 23 is in transmission state, switches the optical switch 23 from transmission state to non-transmission state when the pumping light for amplification is emitted, switches the optical switch 23 again to transmission state when the seed light is emitted, and controls the period of non-transmission state of the optical switch 23, and the intensity of the pumping light for amplification emitted from the pumping light source 30 for amplification. |
