PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric separation type sensor in which an optical axis in a horizontal direction can be smoothly and accurately adjusted.SOLUTION: A photoelectric separation type sensor 1 comprises: an optical base support frame 19 that holds an optical base 23 and is rotatably set on a sensor base 11; and horizontal angle adjusting means 25 to adjust an optical axis L in the horizontal direction of the optical base 23 by rotating the optical base support frame 19 in the horizontal direction. The horizontal angle adjusting means 25 comprises: a horizontal angle adjusting spring 35 that horizontally rotates the optical base support frame 19; a horizontal angle regulating member 105 that directly or indirectly abuts against the optical base support frame 19 to regulate the horizontal rotation of the optical base support frame 19; and a horizontal angle adjusting male screw 89 that adjusts the relative position of the horizontal angle regulating member 105 to the optical base support frame 19. The horizontal angle adjusting spring 35 and the horizontal angle regulating member 105 are arranged in such a manner that an orthogonal direction to the abutting surface where the horizontal angle regulating member 105 abuts and a biasing direction by the horizontal angle adjusting spring 35 cross each other. |
