PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a connected body of individual packages in an easily handled state by storing the connected body of the individual packages in a box of a predetermined size at a high space occupation rate without preparing a box of a corresponding size or storing the same in an orderly arranged manner even when the number of individual packages of the connected body changes.SOLUTION: A folding apparatus includes: an upstream side transport mechanism for transporting a connected body of individual packages formed by connecting a plurality of individual packages individually storing an absorbent article to be arranged in an array direction, taking the array direction as the transport direction; and a folding mechanism for folding the connected body, which is disposed on the downstream side in the transport direction from the upstream side transport mechanism to fold the connected body, taking each part between the absorbent articles adjacent to each other in the array direction as a folding position while interlocking with the transport operation in the array direction of the connected body. |
