PURPOSE: A shampoo composition containing an oriental medicinal mixture for hair and scalp is provided to prevent alopecia and to promote hair growth. CONSTITUTION: A shampoo composition for hair and scalp contains an oriental medicinal mixture containing 4 wt% of Acorus calamus L., 4 wt% of Pleuropterus multiflorus TURCZ., 3 wt% of Dioscorea batatas, 3 wt% of Cornus officinalis, 2 wt% of Acyranthes bidentata Blume, 2 wt% of Eclipta prostrate L., 2 wt% of Alisma canaliculatum, 2 wt% of Paeonia suffruticosa ANER, 2 wt% of Poria cocos Wolf, 1 wt% of Paeonia japonica, and 1 wt% of Ligusticum wallichii Franch. The shampoo composition contains 5.3 wt% of oriental medicinal liquid, 58 wt% of water, 20 wt% of DLG(Disodium Lauroyl Glutamate), 10 wt% of Babassuamidopropyl betaine, 3 wt% of xanthan gum, 1.0 wt% of D-panthenol, 0.5 wt% of polyquarternium, 0.5 wt% of tocopherol, 0.5 wt% of rosemary, 0.5 wt% of keratin, 0.5 wt% of lavender oil, and 0.2 wt% of menthol. |
