PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique having a high possibility of reducing a data amount while generating lossless data without data deterioration.SOLUTION: A data storage control device 1A includes: a compression part 11 which performs reversible compression for reducing a data amount on each compression object region constituted by a plurality of pixels in an image; determination means which determines whether or not reversible compression can be performed on each compression determination region including the plurality of compression object regions; and a storage control part 13 which performs, on each compression determination region, storage control for making a storage part 5 store data after reversible compression in one compression determination region as compression data when it is determined that reversible compression of each compression object region included in the one compression determination region is possible, and making the storage part 5 store image data before reversible compression in the one compression determination region when it is determined that reversible compression of each compression object region included in the one compression determination region is impossible. |
