The present invention relates to a smart TV system which calculates a noise signal of a separate space and an impulse response of a TV sound source signal, generates an adaptive noise cancelling (ANC) output signal using an ANC technique, and transmits the ANC output signal to the separate space. The TV system according to the present invention comprises: a housing; a display on the housing; a network interface; a TV tuner; a noise cancelling device which may be installed independently of the housing and includes a microphone measuring ambient noise; and a processor which is placed inside the housing, controls the display, an audio output device, and the TV tuner, and communicates with the noise cancelling device through the network interface. The processor compares a noise signal transferred from the noise cancelling device with a sound source signal transmitted from the TV tuner, generates a signal cancelling a TV sound source signal transferred to a space in which the noise cancelling device based on the comparison result, and transmits the generates signal.
