The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting a reinforcing bar. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for cutting a reinforcing bar, which can rapidly perform a cutting work by cutting a large amount of reinforcing bars, used as a basic framework in an apartment construction field, an industrial construction plant, a large scale construction, or engineering works, in a fixed length at once and can prevent the generation of defective products by accurately cutting the reinforcing bars in the same length. The apparatus for cutting a reinforcing bar comprises: a first frame (100) and a second frame (150); an upper plate (200) and a lower plate (250) which are combined with the top and the bottom of the first frame (100) and the second frame (150); a main cylinder (300) which is fixated to the upper plate (200) and elevates up and down; a first slide unit (400) which elevates up and down at one side of the first frame (100) and the second frame (150) by the main cylinder (300); a second slide unit (500) which elevates up and down at the other side of the first frame (100) and the second frame (150); and a crank operating unit (600) which operates in the lower part of the first slide unit (400) and the second slide unit (500). |
