PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a (meth)acrylic silicone compound having high purity for an ophthalmic lens such as a contact lens.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes a process of producing a (meth)acrylic silicone compound of the formula (1) by reacting organohydrogenpolysiloxane and a (meth)acrylate compound of the formula (3), where Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, a is 1 or 2, in the presence of an addition reaction catalyst, and the molar quantity of the (meth)acrylate compound is 1.4 times as large as the molar quality of organohydrogenpolysiloxane in the addition reaction. |
