Porous substrates that can have at least one pore with a catalyst associated with the inside of the pore. Microreactors formed therefrom include a flow path, a sintered silica material which defines the flow path, at least one pore in the sintered silica material, wherein the at least one pore has an average diameter of about 1 nm to about 100 nm, and at least one catalyst within the at least one pore. |
