Disclosed is a method for moving a terminal between heterogeneous networks. After the terminal moves from a first network to a second network due to CS fallback, a cell reselection time is set when call connection is ended in a second network. After the cell reselection time is expired and after determining whether the mobility management (MM)/GPRS MM (GMM) procedures are in progress, cell reselection is performed in the first network if MM/GMM procedures are not in progress. Therefore, the terminal can rapidly move from the second network to the first network.
