Embodiments of the present invention provide a user equipment pairing processing method, a network side device, and a user equipment. The method comprises: a network side device acquiring pairing request information about a beneficial user equipment and a standby supporting user equipment to be paired, wherein the pairing request information comprises identities of the beneficial user equipment and the standby supporting user equipment, or the pairing request information comprises the identities of the beneficial user equipment and the standby supporting user equipment and a common pairing identity; and the network side device pairing the beneficial user equipment and the standby supporting user equipment according to the pairing request information, and sending a pair success message to the beneficial user equipment and the standby supporting user equipment. By means of the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, user pairing in synthetic communications is implemented.
