摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a variable range of turning angles of turning wheels at a necessary level even if a motor and decelerator that are stacked in a radial direction of an output shaft of an actuator are adopted as the actuator that rotates the turning wheels about a center line.SOLUTION: If a motor 10 and decelerator 11 in a housing 9 that are stacked in a radial direction of an output shaft 6 are adopted as an actuator 5 that rotates turning wheels 1, the length of the actuator 5 in the radial direction gets longer. A tie rod 14 in a steering system is connected to a surface of the actuator 5 on a center side in a vehicular width direction in the housing 9. Therefore, the position of connected parts can be approached to a support 3 that supports the turning wheels 1 on a suspension arm 2. This suppresses such an event that a moving distance in the vehicular width direction by which the tie rod 14 has to be moved in order to change a turning angle &thetas; of the turning wheels 1 by a unit angle gets longer.
