The invention relates to a thread connection, in particular for connecting components of an injection device for internal combustion engines which conduct a high pressure medium, wherein a first component (6) has an inside thread (21) and a second component (5) has an outside thread (22) which can be screwed into the inside thread (21), wherein the second component (5) can be tensioned against a contact surface (24) of the first component (24) by a face (23) upon tightening of the thread connection, wherein the first component (6) has material removed in an axial region between the contact surface (24) and a first convolution (25) of the inside thread (21). According to the invention, the material is removed up to a diameter exceeding the outside diameter of the inside thread (21). |
