PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition and a hydrogel containing an Impatiens balsamina extract, metronidazole, and a biocompatible polymer are provided to suppress athletes foot, and to treat ulcer, wound, or burn. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating athletes foot contains an Impatiens balsamina extract, metronidazole, and a biocompatible polymer. The Impatiens balsamina extract is prepared by mixing each extract of Impatiens balsamina flowers, leaves, and stems. A hydrogel for preventing or treating athletes foot is prepared by crosslinking a mixture of an Impatiens balsamina extract, metronidazole, a biocompatible polymer, and purified water by radiation. A method for preparing the hydrogel comprises: a step of preparing a Impatiens balsamina extract mixture; a step of dissolving the extract mixture, the biocompatible polymer, and metronidazole in purified water and preparing a mixture solution; a step of pouring the mixture solution on a frame and molding in a gel type sheet; and a step of irradiating the sheet by radiation.
