　Provided is a gas separation device which suppresses an increase in pressure loss, and can be used to achieve reduced size, weight and costs. The gas separation device causes absorbent to flow down along the surface of a filler arranged in a treatment tank, and supplies, to the treatment tank, gas which is to be treated and which contains target gas components, and causes the gas which is to be treated and the absorbent flowing down along the surface of the filler to come into gas-liquid contact, thus the target gas components contained in the gas which is to be treated are absorbed into the absorbent and are separated or collected from the gas which is to be treated. The filler has at least one filler unit formed by a plurality of expanded metal plates, standing vertically and arranged in parallel.
