PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug capable of suppressing an arc discharge occurring between the plug blade and a duct conductor when the plug is attached or removed, thereby making it possible to prevent overheating and other trouble, and a luminaire and illumination system using the plug.SOLUTION: Provided is a plug 1 for supplying the power received from a conductor 22 of a duct 2 to a load, wherein a plug blade 13a is inserted into the duct 2 via an opening 21d and touches the conductor 22 as it moves rotationally. Further in the plug 1, a switch unit 5 establishes and breaks continuity of a power supply path via the plug blade 13a to the load, and an option unit 14 is incapable of changing over from a cut off position to a conducting position because it interferes with the duct 2 until the plug blade 13a inserted into the duct 2 reaches a prescribed attachment complete position after it started moving rotationally, and is capable of changing over from the cut off position to the conducting position when the plug blade 13a is located at the attachment complete position. |
